After a lot of time without fresh news, Merge Studio is proud to present in society this images, taken during the first days of our amazing new life in London. We want to dedicate this little ‘work’ to all the wonderful people we’ve left in Gijón.

From merge’s studio we have been thinking about the sense or nosense of these Christmas times. Year after year, new year, next year… We have concluded that the deep sense of this nosense is nothing but illusion.

Illusion is what makes us happy from time to time, illusion is what makes us get out of bed, or inside. Illusion is what keeps hope alive in our minds. Illusion is, definitively, our best way of life.

New year, new projects. English is not that hard is the seed of a self-initiative project that wants to explore the learning process in languages, but also introducing a strong graphic character. It may involve, stimulate and encourage learners through all course, making easier remembering and connecting concepts. It could be printed (book, poster, postcards, cahier) and programmed for e-learning.

Nuevo proyecto: método eminentemente gráfico de aprendizaje. Explora los conceptos y el proceso de adquisición del inglés para hispanohablantes.

Saludos a Minchinela, que nos dejó with the honey on the lips, a Nacho Vigalondo, que contó cosas que no podríamos dibujar aquí, a Dillinger por hacernos morir de risas y de imágenes geniales, y a Ignacio Escolar, que así son las cosas y así se las hemos contado.

Estamos en el hiperespacio Laboral, asistiendo a la presentación de unos 30 blogs. Este es un dibujo del viernes a las 19h. Vimos a Kahlo, con sus Dadanoias, entre otros. Ahorita mismo estamos asistiendo a la presentación de Kombini, que es una tv por internet con muy buena pinta, para compartir, contar cosas bonicas y hablar de las personas, todo ello very cool hunted. Estamos a la espera de la una intervención de Minchinela, suponemos que aparecerá así de repronto…
