Words are images. Each character is also an image, a little drawing. Mechanic or handmade, linked by the sentence or the meaning. It is said that a type is like a voice -words and information are the same, but sounds slightly different.

So this is the discreet importance of types. Carefully designed, they are spread all around us. Their authors keep unknown for most people, too. But this does not harm their value. Type dialogues with images, meanings and the format or piece where is inserted. Functionality and aesthetics go together to accomplish our favourite activity: communication.
